International Center for Quality and Accreditation Standards (CIQAS) was founded in 2009 by individuals from UK and East Africa and registered in Kenya and Uganda with the main vision of improving the Quality of Laboratory Services. Products and Monitoring of Clinical trials among others in the East African Region and the diaspora.

Through third part attestation CIQAS aims to achieve certification and accreditation for Laboratories to the highest Quality based on international Standards. The training and Mentorship programmes of CIQAS are aimed to ensure that both the public and private sector is competently providing Quality services to its customers and that clinical trials are conducted in accordance with ICH GCP guidance and other regulatory requirements.
